In 2010 Northumbrian Earth delivered a series of walks to celebrate the launch of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Geodiversity Action Plan. These well received walks were funded by the Northumberland Coast AONB, with the aim of publicising the excellent work in the Geodiversity Action plan. They also initiated work to interpret the geology for both visitors and locals.
Community Projects
Northumbrian Earth is involved in a variety of community activities to help make the fascinating geodiversity of Northumberland and the Borders accessible to all. Community events will be publicised here when they are set up.
