Northumbrian Earth has been working with various partners to develop and deliver interpretation and educational material for the local community. This ranges from research and project development as part of community schemes through work with adult natural history groups to delivering activity based geo-diversity lessons for schools.
Over the last few years Northumbrian Earth has worked with the U3A geology group of Alnwick to develop a series of geo-walks on the coast, supported by the Northumberland Coast AONB.
Leading on from this Northumbrian Earth will again be working with the Alnwick U3A geology group as geology consultant for a book to be published on the geology of the coastline.
